Government and social policy impacts on all aspects of the work of voluntary and community organisations. Keeping track of the fast changing policy agenda can be a very time consuming activity.
The Regional Forum has developed this database to bring together significant regional and national policies. It is by no means a comprehensive listing but we have tried to focus attention on those policies of most interest to voluntary and community organisations and those where the Forum is actively getting involved in consultation processes. The database can be used as a tracking device for the process of policy development - from launch through consultation to implementation.

Whether you know the specific name of the policy or only the subject area, this database can help you. Policies are listed by title and broken down into regional and national categories. They are also broken down by theme, so potentially pulling together a number of policies under one heading. If you prefer, you can use your own keywords and phrases in the "search" facility to find the policies of interest to you.
